Eid Mubarak! The great thing about Ramadan falling in the summertime – despite the unbelievably long fasts – is being able to dress up for Eid without having to wear layers over your outfit. This year, I wanted to wear something really bright and colourful to capture the summer spirit, and this pink churidaar does just that!
Although this suit wasn’t overly sparkly, the busy embroidery and the clashing blocks of colour on the border make it something that stands out in a unique way. I chose to accentuate the white detailing in the suit with some white satin heels and a matching clutch.
While I’d usually go all out with my jewellery – more is more when it comes to Asian attire 😉 – I didn’t think a large necklace would work with the high collar of the shalwar (the top). Instead, I skipped out on wearing a set and just wore these pretty gold and pink earrings, with a bangle on each wrist.
